Terms of use

Effective date: 11 October 2026.

Using TandemPOS

You may use TandemPOS for lawful business operations. You are responsible for the accuracy of your records, access by your staff, customer and employee information you enter, and meeting the requirements that apply to your business. Protect the owner account and authorize only devices you trust.

Subscription and devices

The price, currency, device limit, trial, and renewal terms shown at checkout apply to your subscription. PayPal handles payment approval and recurring billing. All devices approved under an owner account use that account's subscription end date; adding a device does not start a new billing month. A trial is available once per account under the trial's stated device limit. You can rename, revoke, or replace devices in My Account. A revoked device stops normal use when it next checks online; a device remaining offline can continue until its existing signed authorization ends.

Local records and recovery

Each device keeps its own records. Keep regular encrypted backups on a separate storage location. Restoring a backup replaces the destination workspace, so check the file and destination carefully. We cannot recover a forgotten backup password. Expiration or revocation keeps local records available in read-only mode, including reports and exports. Uninstalling the app, clearing browser storage, resetting a device, or losing it can remove local data.

Payments and business calculations

The POS records external payments after you confirm them. It does not process or verify customer payments with a bank, wallet, or card processor. Check totals, taxes, employee calculations, and reports before relying on them. TandemPOS is not a certified tax invoicing service or a replacement for professional accounting advice. Hardware compatibility depends on your actual device and equipment.

Cancellation and support

Manage recurring billing through PayPal and use Contact us for subscription questions, refund requests, and technical help. Cancelling future billing does not erase local store records. Refund requests are reviewed according to applicable law and the payment terms shown when you subscribed. These terms do not remove consumer rights provided by law.

Availability and changes

Internet access is required for sign-in, device approval, periodic subscription checks, and sending contact messages. Authorized checkout can work offline within its stated authorization window. We may provide updates or temporarily interrupt online services for maintenance. Keep a backup before installing an update.
