How does the free trial work?
Create your account and start a seven-day trial from the account page — no card required. A trial is available once per account under the trial's device limit. When the trial ends, pick a plan to keep full access; your local records are never touched either way.
Which plan should I choose?
Choose by how many registers will run TandemPOS at the same time: one PC or tablet → $5, up to three → $10, up to six → $15. Every feature is identical across plans, so there is nothing to compare beyond device count.
How many devices can I register, and can I change them?
Your plan allows 1, 3, or 6 approved devices. You add a register by scanning its QR approval code from My Account, and you can rename, revoke, or replace devices at any time. All devices share your account's subscription end date, and adding a device does not start a new billing month.
What happens when my subscription ends?
A three-day renewal grace period protects you from a missed date. After that, local records stay available in read-only mode — reports and exports included — and nothing is deleted. Renew, and full use resumes on the same device.
How does billing work?
PayPal handles payment approval and recurring billing in US dollars. You can manage or cancel recurring billing from your PayPal account or My Account page. Cancelling future billing does not erase your local store records, and refund requests are reviewed according to applicable law and the payment terms shown when you subscribed.
Do my sales go into the cloud?
No. Each device keeps its own sales, stock, staff, payroll, reports, and backups — TandemPOS does not keep a cloud copy of POS transactions. Internet is needed for sign-in, device approval, and periodic subscription checks; authorized checkout keeps working offline within its authorization window.
Is there a setup fee or contract?
No setup fee, no contract, no per-transaction cut. The listed monthly price is what you pay, and you stop future billing whenever you like through PayPal.
